Strategic Mentoring
Strategic Mentoring is a highly individualised form of leadership development for individuals in a change leadership role – and is geared to enabling you to personally produce high quality decisions that define you, your authority and effectiveness. Strategic Mentoring provides a framework of attention and support that focuses on how you use your values, integrity and authenticity to structure decisions that will have optimum impact on your personal authority, influence and organisational effectiveness. This very sharp focus results in much higher quality vision and decisions.
Strategic Mentoring provides a confidential sounding board, thinking room and support for working through crucial and often complex strategic decisions that will shape your life and future. An opportunity to team up with your own personal mentor and thinking partner, from outside the organisation; an extra pair of shoulders to share the load; and an opportunity to import core capabilities in strategic thinking; cross-functional working; and how to develop authority and leadership through cultivating a learning organisation.
Framework:
Denis works in sets of six weekly one-hour sessions with a review session on the sixth session. This provides a flexible and open-ended framework allowing brief; medium; and long-term arrangements.

Denis Roberts is an independent leadership and organisation development consultant who specialises in the above a range of mentoring solutions. He is founder of The Networking Firm; formed in 1996, together with strategic partners Professor Colin Coulson-Thomas and Professor Barry Curnow. His background is in organisational psychology, which commenced in postgraduate research with the world-renowned Tavistock Institute of Human Relations. He is a trained counsellor and a certified management consultant (CMC) with former IMC.
